Version Watches, French elegance paired with Swiss precision.

The soul of the brand
Founded in Paris in 2024 by Cybèle Vigneron, Carla Lanfranchini, and Lucas Portugaels, Version Watches has established itself as a new voice in independent watchmaking. The young house, assembling its pieces in La Chaux-de-Fonds, asserts a strong identity, inspired by design, architecture, and vintage automobiles.
The founders’ intention
Behind Version Watches lies a clear ambition: to reinvent the experience of time.

For the founders, a watch should not just be a functional instrument, but a design object, an aesthetic manifesto that conveys an emotion and a vision. Their project was born from a desire to open up watchmaking to other creative worlds and to shatter the boundaries between tradition and modernity.
The signature aesthetic
At Version Watches, watchmaking becomes a creative playground. The founders break free from classic codes and offer watches with textured, open-worked, almost architectural dials. The dial is read like a façade, the case as a sculpture, and time as a living material to be sculpted and admired.
Innovation and craftsmanship
Three sensibilities, three initials that even appear in the name of their first model: V01 – LCC. More than a watch, it’s a statement of intent.
The inaugural collection, V01 – LCC, comes in three interpretations, limited to just 100 pieces each:
- Tempête, with a deep blue dial, plays on strength and depth.
- Éclat, with its satin peach shade, lights up the wrist with vibrant softness.
- Rosée, in white highlighted with rose gold, is adorned with delicacy and elegance.
Each piece reveals a subtle play of geometries, transparencies, and materials. The slender hands trace their path like brush strokes on a canvas. With this collection, Version Watches invites you not just to read the time, but to live an aesthetic and sensory experience at the crossroads of art, mechanics, and history.

If the design attracts the eye, the technique reassures the enthusiast.

Assembled in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the watches are powered by the Sellita SW200-1 movement—automatic, 26 jewels, 28,800 A/h, with a 38-hour power reserve—a Swiss automatic caliber renowned for its reliability.
The 38mm steel case, water-resistant to 50m, features refined finishes and a transparent caseback revealing an engraved oscillating weight.
The dial is built on two levels: an open-worked upper part, designed like a geometric grid, and a lower textured section, satin or matte depending on the version. The whole is protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal, ensuring clarity and durability.
Price and availability
Available for pre-order at €995 (with a public price announced at €1,800), they combine bold design with Swiss reliability.
A successful bet: the Kickstarter campaign of March 2025 surpassed its initial goal, confirming public interest in watchmaking that dares to mix art and mechanical precision.
The opinion of Watch Members Club
At Version Watches, time isn’t a measurement… it’s a version. An interpretation. A work of art you wear. This vision places the young French house among the most inspiring promises in contemporary watchmaking.
