Furlan Marri is one of those brands that needs no introduction. A Swiss company with proven expertise, it embodies a rare balance between simplicity, precision, and modernity, continuing to appeal to lovers of fine watches. After adding a Rosso Grigio to my collection, I had the pleasure of trying on their Corne de Vache White Sector model.
“On the wrist” is our column where each watch is tested in real life. Here, the Watch Members Club doesn’t just look at technical specifications: we wear the watches, we feel them, and we analyze them. The goal? To share a concrete, honest, and direct opinion on the style, comfort, and everyday experience of the watch.
This detailed analysis explores every facet of the watch, from its design to its movement, before concluding with the opinion of the Watch Members Club.
On the wrist: where the watch reveals itself
From the moment you slip it on your wrist, the White Sector makes a subtle yet serious impression.

It is a piece that is valued as much for its design as for its comfort, confirming its status as a modern dress watch.
- The sector dial captures the light and provides dynamic readability.
- The blued hands and contrasting numerals add liveliness without overload.
The whole gradually reveals itself, offering an experience where the watch grows with each glance.
Furlan Marri retains a rare trait in the contemporary watchmaking landscape: respect for design, finish, and consistency.
While some brands are accelerating production and simplifying their models, Furlan Marri advocates a measured and thoughtful approach, which is evident in every detail of this White Sector.
Movement and technical characteristics
The White Sector is powered by the G100 caliber from La Joux-Perret, a reliable and modern Swiss automatic movement.

The movement is visible through the transparent case back, which is carefully decorated in keeping with the overall design.
- Power reserve: 68 hours
- Glass: sapphire crystal front and back
- Water resistance: 50 meters
- Two straps included with quick-change system
The readability and mechanics exude Swiss watchmaking expertise.
A true dress watch
Comfort is one of the most underrated strengths of this Furlan Marri White Sector. With a modest diameter of 37.5 mm and a controlled thickness of 10.5 mm, the watch is immediately forgotten on the wrist, without ever appearing fragile or insignificant.
The cow horns play a key role here. Their curvature allows the watch to fit naturally on the wrist, distributing the weight evenly. The result: no feeling of imbalance, even after several hours of wear.
The slim case slips easily under a shirt or jacket sleeve, confirming the White Sector’s positioning as a contemporary dress watch. Comfort is not only physical, but also visual: the watch never overwhelms the wrist and maintains a constant elegance, whatever the outfit.
The Watch Members Club’s opinion
The White Sector by Furlan Marri perfectly illustrates what the Watch Members Club values:
In short, the White Sector is not a spectacular watch, but a piece of conviction, demonstrating that elegance and technology can coexist without compromise.
- Impeccable finish: attention to detail and consistency in aesthetic choices.
- Everyday comfort: suitable dimensions and lugs, pleasant on the wrist.
- Value for money: CHF 1’250 ≈ $1,562.50 for a decorated Swiss movement and a versatile watch.
- Legibility and balance: a clear and harmonious dial, without artifice.
This model confirms Furlan Marri’s expertise and deserves a place in any modern and discerning collection.
